Meet Lauren and Will, Genesee’s founders.
Growing up on our family’s farm in the rural Midwest instilled an appreciation for fresh air, natural whole foods, and a simple lifestyle. Both Will and Lauren left home after graduating high school to pursue their passions and higher education. Will played professional basketball overseas and got his engineering degree while Lauren obtained her Masters in Health Administration. Even apart, they were both passionately committed to lifestyles of health and wellness. Our love for the outdoors and adventures led us both to move to Colorado. Here, we spend our free time in the mountains skiing, hiking, camping, and exploring with our families and friends! We had found a community of people committed to living a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle, just like us!
We knew our friends needed natural, healthy foods to fuel their bodies for all their adventures.
